Vintage 1950s Christian Dior Chapeaux hat, beehive turban style, off-white, the lightweight body of the hat has “horsehair” stiffened ribbon bands going around, partially covered in straw, with frothy netting overall, measures 7″ high x 9″ in diameter, the circumference of the opening is 20 measured with a flexible tape, has a large fabric label: Christian Dior Chapeaux Paris New York, condition: as is, the bottom row of netting is slightly detached from the body of the hat, needs some re-attaching, previously owned, from a local estate.
