The hat is made of black crepe. It has a front veil and long back tail. The hat has a Hartford, CT. The hat would be worn high on the head and held in place with a hatpin. It is in very good condition. There are some breaks in the lace on the front veil. This style rarely shows up on the open market so would e a fine addition to a hat collection.
