THE CROWN IS TRIMMED IN BLACK SILK THAT IS WIRED ON THE TOP WITH A BLACK FEATHER COMING UP FROM BENEATH THE FOLD. TWO LARGE CLUSTERS OF FLORALS ARE ON THE FRONT BRIM AND THE INTERIOR IS LINED IN A BLACK SILK. THE CENTER OF THE INNER LINING IS LOOSE AND COULD USE A FEW TACK STITCHES. THE SILK RIBBON HAS SOME SMALL SPOT STAINING ON THE LONGEST EXTENDING END. I PERSONALLY WOULD ADD MORE PLUMES TO MAKE THIS PIECE OVER THE TOP. NO SPLITTING OR WEAR. A GREAT HAT TO BUILD UPON.
