FLAPPER 1920’S QUILTED SILK TAFFETA CLOCHE HAT W JET JEWEL. DATING TO THE 1920’S. FASHIONED OF A BLACK SILK TAFFETA THAT IS QUILTED IN GOLD LAME STITCHING THROUGHOUT. THE BRIM IS TURNED UP WITH A FAN OF GROSGRAIN POINTS ON THE TOP WITH A JET JEWEL FLORAL SHAPED ACCENT IN THE CENTER. THE INTERIOR IS LINED IN A BLACK POLISHED COTTON. SLIGHT DUST FROM ESTATE STORAGE. THE GROSGRAIN POINTS ARE STARTING TO SHOW SIGNS OF FRAY AND NOTE THE FRAYING RIBBON BENEATH THE JET JEWEL. I PERSONALLY WOULD TRIM OFF THE GROSGRAIN RIBBON BENEATH THE JEWEL. SEVERAL SMALL POINTS OF LOOSE LAME STITCHING ARE SEEN AT THE NAPE OF THE NECK, NO SPLITTING, STRONG AND WEARABLE. Our business name is ANTIQUE WARDROBE.
