FASHIONED OF A PURPLE SILK VELVET ON BOTH THE TOP AND UNDER SIDE THAT IS DONE ON A STIFFENED BUCKRAM BASE. THE UNDER SIDE IS TRIMMED IN A SILK BOW WITH THE BRIM TWISTED UP ON THE OPPOSITE SIDE WITH A LARGE CURLING WHITE FEATHER PLUME AND METALLIC LAME ROSES. THE BRIM EDGE IS MISSING THE SILK BINDING COMPLETELY AROUND. THE INTERIOR LINING IS ABSENT AND THE PURPLE SILK BOW IS SHOWING SHATTER. UNIVERSAL IN SIZE AS IT WOULD HAVE BEEN WORN ATOP A HEAD OF HAIR WITH HAT PINS. HEAD HOLE IS 18 INCHES AROUND AND BRIM MEASURES 11 X 14 INCHES. Vintage and antique items ARE NOT new items.
