Early 1950s Ladies wide brim picture hat. A stunning 1950s ladies’New Look’ picture hat from’The May Company’. A superb quality beautifully made and shaped wide brim, platter hat. Formed upon a pink base with an inner wired crown that bends to fit the wearer. Very pretty multi tiny flowers in hues of pink, green leaves and white larger millinery flowers cover the brim. A pretty bow sits to the back The flat crown is pink. This very pretty hat oozes fifties glamour, and is the epitome of elegance, the ultimate sophisticated and feminine look, fabulous for The Goodwood Revival, for weddings, a formal occasion or ladies day. Ladies medium size 22. A style that is so easy to wear. In very good condition, totally wearable. There is a water stain on the under brim, it cannot be seen at all when the hat is worn (see images) our images show this far more prominently than it is but we want to ensure accuracy. It is still a beautiful hat to wear. This is a gorgeous example of this classic style that all ladies can wear with confidence.
