Stunning & elegant women’s Burberrys statement hat!! Vintage from before Burberry dropped the’s’ from its brand name over 35 years ago. Labeled: Equestrian Knight logo followed Burberrys. Beneath on the second line: London New York Paris. Second Label: Made in England. Do not wear this hat in the rain. Rich brown, dense & well-shaped wool with heavy deep black velvet band and frill. Inner circumference about 21 1/2. I find this hat a bit small, but don’t know where on the head it is supposed to be worn. Brim is equal in size all around and measures 3 from inner ribbon to edge. The black velvet trim is super soft & padded. It measures 3 around the brim. It is securely hand-stitched in place. The top of the hat from front to back measures 7 1/2. From side to side measures 6 1/2. From brim to top is about 5. PHOTOS of this HAT are TAKEN as WORN UPON the HEAD of a YOUTH-SIZE MODEL!!! NOT SHOWN ON ADULT-SIZED HEAD! I don’t know how to clean up hats, but this is a bit dusty & shows light wear to small areas to edge at crown – just color fade, easy fix with proper coloring. Light spots inside – not damage. This hat is a rich brown – flash used for detail & washed out the color in photos 9, 10 & 11. The color you see is dependent upon YOUR MONITOR’s settings & calibration.
