A 1950s original ladies bandeau hat. This beautiful bandeau clamshell, headband hat is from the 1950s. It is constructed on a wired net form with beautiful pale blue braid work and twirling sequins shaped into petals at the front brim. Layers of chiffon fall across the back of the bandeau in leaf shapes and a pretty glass hat pin sits to the back. A coordinating veil falls prettily to the front or may be swept back over the hat if preferred. Excellent true vintage condition, totally clean and wearable. One Size – the wired form bends to fit the wearer. Perfect for those ladies that do not like to wear a full size hat and headband hats are very fashionable right now.
