BOX FELL OFF SHELF AFTER A USER REQUESTED THE ACTUAL MEASURED HEAD SIZE OF THE HAT. WHILE TAKING IT DOWN FROM HIGH SHELF TO MEASURE IT SLIPPED AND FELL, HIT SIDEBOARD. SIZE OF HAT FITS APPROX 22″ TO 23″ HEAD SIZE. THE BENDEL’S PRICE TAG, WHICH IS STILL ATTACHED TO HAT SHOWS “N/S” WHICH I ASSUME TO MEAN “NO SIZE”. THUS, THIS HAT WAS PROBABLY ONLY MADE IN THIS ONE SIZE. THE STYLE IS “CHIC SKI STYLE” HAT, VERY EUROPEAN LOOK. GREAT FOR BOTH THE SLOPES, APRES SKI, AND YOUR CITY WINTER SHOPPING! BEAUTIFUL HAT AND MADE BY FINE ITALIAN CRAFTSMANSHIP MILLINERS. I bought this hat and box at the flagship Bendel store in NYC in December, 1998. Hat never worn out, only tried on. Price tag still attached. Hat made in Italy. The Hat Box was in great condition when first listed, but has since been damaged when taken down from shelf. Please see all photos!
