RARE Antique VTG Women’s Hat 1900s/1910s Toque Edwardian Raffia Straw & Ribbon #165. This is a genuine antique 1900s/1910s Toque hat -Covered in black lightweight raffia. Straw with detailed weave. Front of hat has a tall raffia panel. The black ribbon wraps around the hat and tucks into the front panel on. One front-side and the other end is tied into a bow on the other front-side. Lined with black fabric. Inside band area measures approx. Good condition for its age with some dustiness. There are tears in the ribbon mostly where it tucks into the front panel. Also tears/holes in portions of the lining. These hats were popular around the turn of the 1900s. This would make a wonderful piece for any display.
