EDWARDIAN LADIES WIDE BRIMMED HATS, c1910, LOT OF 2. Two c1910 hats from the Edwardian period. One is a brown raised nap brush velvet fabric with wide brimmed feathered hat, and the other one is a black intricate woven straw with plumes. All would make a lovely addition to a collection of antique hats. LEFT TO RIGHT LEFT HAT. A brown raised nap brush velvet beaver fabric, with large flat crown hat with a woven brown grosgrain ribbon head band. A side velvet bow and millinery flowers and blue and brown feather plumes adorn the brim. Brim slightly upturned with wire inserted for stability. Black cotton forms the lining. No wear, and with no damage. Interior circumference measures approximately 23″ Opening 8-1/2″ x 7-1/4 ” Width 12-1/2″ Front to back 14″ Height of crown 4″ Width of Band 2-1/4″ Width of Brim 3″. This handmade 1910 intricately woven straw hat is adorned with feather plumes, black grosgrain ribbon band with bow, and black jet beadwork. With sheer chiffon black draw string lining and with no label. With one broken plume and a tiny split in inner lining. Interior circumference approximately 22-1/2″ Crown Height 4″ Brim 4″ Width 11-1/2″ Front to back 12-1/2.
