These riding hats were made exclusively for Bergdorf Goodman-On The Plaza- New York. They were originally used in the 1940s while horseback riding in California, near Hollywood. There is an adjustable chin strap to keep it in place and great crown shapeing. This appears to be made of poly weave. It’s in excellent condition, well made and a very stylish hat. Measurements of the inner band around crown approx 21 1/2. Hat size 6 7/8 – 7. Two color options are available, Black and a grayish blue. This listing is for the grayish blue.
