Vintage Christian Dior Chapeaux Pink Feathered Hat ca. 1960’s F/S (#900-244). Offered is a beautiful Christian Dior Chapeaux feathered hat in mostly pink along with a mix of rooster hackles and some other domestic bird (perhaps goose or turkey). This turban style hat was made in New York and dates to the 1960’s. This hat may have been designed by Marc Bohan but we could not positively establish that fact. It has a multi-colored glitter clusters accented pink netting covering the exterior of the hat and a pink tulle interior. The labels read “Christian Dior Chapeaux Paris-New York” and “Craig’s Exclusive Millinery Houston”. This hat stands about 6″ high and is almost 9″ in diameter. The headband measures right at 22. It weighs about 2.3 ounces. This hat appears to be in very good condition with tears or holes in the netting or tulle. There appears to be minimal feather loss.
